Decent Stay with Some Disappointments

The room I had was not excellent. The view was obstructed and underwhelming. the noise from the street was quite noticeable, especially late at night. I found it difficult to sleep well due to the constant noise (even with earplugs!). The breakfast buffet was acceptable, but the coffee machine often had long queues.

The location is really great for exploring. the breakfast had lots of choices (especially the range of homemade options!). our premium double room had a great view of the waterway. the staff was helpful. I found everyone accommodating .
The room lacked storage. I had to keep my bags on the floor.

this hotel sits right on the marina, across from the granaries island. busy restaurants, bars, and cafes surround the harbor. it's a simple walk into the main city areas and it is just fabulous to be so close to everything.

mixed feelings about this stay

poor insulationoverpriced breakfast
I was a bit let down by the noise levels. the sound insulation was non-existent. I could hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms. the walls seemed paper-thin, which really impacted my sleep. also, the breakfast was quite overpriced for what it offered. the selection wasn't worth the cost.

the location was convenient enough.
My room lacked basic amenities, such as a coffee maker. the tv remote didn't work, and nobody fixed it despite my asking. the synthetic pillows were also a huge disappointment. They desperately need replacement.
